Managing health often feels like extra work: users must track data, schedule appointments, and find reliable information across fragmented systems, each adding cognitive load and friction. For people balancing work, family, or ongoing care, this fragmentation leads to missed tasks, delayed follow-ups, and unnecessary stress. Palladium addresses this by unifying core health tools into a single, calm experience that reduces effort while supporting clarity, consistency, and trust.

Appointments are presented as a continuous narrative, helping users understand where they’ve been and what’s coming next.

Calm, Clear, and Human-Centered

• Defined user goals through personas and core flows, prioritizing efficiency and low-stress interactions • Designed streamlined onboarding to personalize content without overwhelm • Built core flows for health logging, scheduling, and metric tracking with minimal friction • Developed a lightweight design system to ensure consistency and scalability • Designed within real-world healthcare constraints, balancing ambition with HIPAA considerations

One Platform, Many Possibilities

• Delivered responsive, high-fidelity prototypes across mobile and desktop • Established a cohesive visual language that supports clarity, trust, and discoverability • Centralized essential tools to reduce fragmentation and cognitive load If continued, the project would focus on further UI refinement and improved visual scaling across larger layouts.

A unified view of daily health metrics reveals patterns over time, helping users move from raw data to meaningful insight.

Systems Thinking and Healthcare Constraints

Palladium was designed as a system rather than a collection of screens. A modular design system ensured consistency, supported responsive layouts, and enabled future growth without added complexity, while healthcare-specific considerations such as privacy, clarity, and real-world clinical workflows informed decisions throughout. The concept was discussed and tested with users, behavioral health providers, and medical professionals, grounding the product in practical care contexts and reinforcing an emphasis on simplicity, transparency, and user control.
